The French-Estonian Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure of hosting a delightful evening dedicated to one of France’s most beloved traditions — the Galette des Rois. This memorable gathering was a true celebration of community, culture, and a little royal fun!

For those unfamiliar with this tradition, the Galette des Rois is a quintessential French event that brightens the start of the new year. Across France, officials and families alike partake in a whirlwind of galette celebrations, sometimes attending several in a single day! At home, it’s customary for the youngest person to crawl under the table and blindly assign slices of the galette to ensure a fair and fun distribution. It’s all about discovering who among us will find the fève and be crowned the King or Queen for the evening.

We couldn’t resist adapting this wonderful custom for our event, and it did not disappoint! With laughter and cheers, we unveiled our Kings and Queens of the evening, celebrating their newfound royal status with golden crowns and plenty of photos.
